So we don't look at the troubles we can see right now; rather, we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For the troubles we see will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever. 2 Corinthians 4:18 NLT
Your troubles are not going to last if you are a Christian. I know that may not be the way you feel right now. In the midst of pain it seems that trials will last forever. When the world is caving in around you, it doesn’t feel that you will ever have relief. The fact, however, is that one day all the trials will be over for the Christian.
The key to weathering the storms of life is to keep your feet grounded in the faith of God and your eyes on the prize to come because of your relationship with God. If your only focus is on the trials you are going to struggle through the trial and it is far less likely that the trial will be used for God’s purpose in your life.
As you keep your focus and attention on God through the trial, He will work all things for good and mold you further into His image. The joy after the trial will be incredible. The joy in eternity will be immeasurable.
