I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.
I Am Found In You

Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. Romans 5:7 NIV
"Yea, it's possible." "I'm still thinking about it." "Please fill out this application."
What if you had to die for someone? I know that may seem far fetched, but just imagine with me for a minute. What else do you have to do anyway? Think about having to take someone's place in eternity. (If I were you I would go ahead and pretend that person was going to Heaven and you get to take that place there as well.)
The best part of the deal is that you get to choose the person for whom you are going to make the ultimate sacrifice. (Talk about bargaining power.) What qualifications do you use? Do they have to be a certain age? Male or female? Denomination? They need to have never committed "that" sin? (you know what "that" sin is, don't you?) A good reputation would obviously be important. Maybe someone who gives to United Way, or sings in the church choir? (and, of course a tither.) A pastor: there's a good person. A close relative? Would you draw straws? Could you do a pyschological evaluation of the person? How about if I pick for you? Would you trust my judgement?
Do you agree it would be a tough decision? Well read this next verse:
But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 NIV
Has He ever asked for your resume? And, have YOU ever sinned? (Say yes, it is the correct answer.)
Praise God today that regardless of the condition of our heart, Christ died for us! That can be called nothing else, except G R A C E !
I hope you are thankful for His grace today!
