I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
The Mystery
By: Ron Edmondson Thursday, March 05, 1998
The mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 3:6 NIV

God led the Israelites out of captivity in Egypt, fed them the manna and the quail, protected them from the heat and cold, provided them victory over their enemies, took them into a land flowing with milk and honey, and then promised them a Savior and an eternity with Him in Heaven.

Jesus came as a Jew, a child of Israel, a son of David, and performed miracles for His people. He suffered and died at the hands of His enemies, and then hung naked and bloody from an old rugged cross. He laid in a borrowed grave guarded by Roman soldiers. On the third day He rose from the dead giving victory over the Devil forever for those who would believe.

And guess what? He did it for you and me too! And we get to share in the inheritance. At the reading of the will, you and I will be on the front row, taking something we do not deserve. We are heirs; co-heirs with Jesus Christ!

That is still a mystery to me! How could someone so lost as me, so sinful as me, so undeserving as me, inherit such a wonderful, magnificient, marvelous blessing? Only by grace, my friend, only by grace!

It really is a mystery! God loves us! He knows us best, but yet He loves us more! We, together with all the saints, will reap a harvest!

See you at the reading of the will!
