But Jehoshaphat also said to the king of Israel, "First seek the counsel of the LORD."
1 Kings 22:5 NIV
Do you appreciate good advise? If you are going to ask someone for advise, do you make sure it is someone who at least marginally knows what they are talking about?
I have a few good friends upon whom I lean for advise. I know that if they tell me something, they have thought it out, considered all the scenarios, and advised me based on what they believe to be best for me personally. I thank God for them!
As much as I value a friend's advise, I know there is one place I can turn to really get the best advise. The wisest choice I can make, when seeking direction in life, is to call upon the Lord. Recognizing that fact, I also know that God often uses Scripture and people around me to share His counsel with me.
What decisions are you trying to make today? Do you want some wise counsel? My best advise to you is this: seek first the counsel of the Lord! Ask Him for His direction. Ask Him to guide each step you take. Ask Him to speak to you through His Word. Ask Him to send Godly wisdom through the people you encounter. And, ask Him to take you where He wants you to go.
The best counsel in life, comes from the Lord.

Mustard Seed Ministry is reaching around the world with Biblical truths. The ministry is designed to spur the Christian from the smallest amount of faith, onto spiritual growth and maturity. This ministry goes places the church cannot enter. If you would like to support the work of this ministry, send contributions to Mustard Seed Ministry, PO Box 3698, Clarksville, TN 37043, or through Pay Pal (www.paypal.com) to
ron.mustardseed@Christweb.com email address.
Tell your friends about this ministry. Why not forward a copy of the email to those you think might benefit from reading a Mustard Seed? Some churches use it as a supplement to their discipleship program. Perhaps your church would be interested in doing this. All I ask is that credit be given to the ministry.
