I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
Tears Wiped
By: Ron Edmondson Thursday, September 25, 2008
For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; He will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Revelation 7:17 NIV

Oh, that is what I am waiting for!

The Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world, will one day guide His people to the well of eternal life. Those saints of God who have been bought and paid for by the blood of that same lamb will enter into the Sabbath rest of God. Jesus, Himself, will lead us to the living water.

Jesus said that He had water for us that would quench our thirst forever. Oh, sure, we didn't take Him literally at the time. We couldn't help but focus on our Earthly needs. We couldn't see into eternity to know that His greatest blessings, those that were never ending, would not come in this life, but in the life to come.

Jesus will finally be the Great Shepherd. Oh, sure, He tried to lead us here on Earth. And, we followed some, but still we wandered many times off the path He had for us. Often, we felt His staff comfort us. Many times we experienced His rod correct us and draw us back onto the straight and narrow. But, when that day arrives, we will never again leave the side of the Great Shepherd.

God will wipe away every tear from our eyes! Thank you, God, that your word does not say that the angels will wipe away our tears or even that your precious Son Jesus will wipe away our tears, but You, the All-Powerful, All-Knowing, Ever-Present Creator will gently wipe away our tears. You will wipe away every tear we shed for a lost loved one, every drop that fell from a broken heart, each time pain caused us to cry, each incident of fear.

The same hand that fashioned the rainbow will gently, tenderly, permanently brush away the tears from our hearts and eyes!

That day is coming my friends! Are you going with me?
