I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
Still I will Trust Him
By: Ron Edmondson Thursday, March 02, 2000
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."

No, its not another computer bug. No, I didn't cut and paste or hit my repeat button a couple of times. I re-typed the verse on purpose!

Some days, more than others, I just need to know that if I put my trust in my Savior, which I am, He will direct my paths. Some days I just need a reminder that this faith of mine is not placed in vain; that I have my hope in the right place. Sometimes I just need to tell myself over again, through God's Word, that everything will be alright, because I have trusted in the right resource.

You see, I have leaned completely on the Lord. I have given Him everything I have. I have turned over to Him my business, my friends, even my wife and kids. He's got it all! I have held nothing back! I must admit, it is a vulnerable position to be in. And, today is one of those days, that if I allowed myself, I could easily doubt my decision.

But, then I remember that God has made a promise to me, and that He always keeps His promises. And so, to help me get through this day I recite:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."

Do you need to hear that today, too?

Tell your friends about this ministry. Why not forward a copy of the email to those you think might benefit from reading a Mustard Seed? Some churches use it as a supplement to their discipleship program. Perhaps your church would be interested in doing this. All I ask is that credit be given to the ministry.
