I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
So Much to Gain
By: Ron Edmondson Thursday, March 18, 1999
"Two men owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denari, and the other fifty. Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he canceled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?" Luke 7:41-42 NIV

Simon's answer to Jesus was the one who had the bigger debt canceled. If he had been on Jeopardy, he would have won the bonus prize, because that was exactly the answer Jesus was looking for.

I feel like the man who had the bigger debt canceled! My debt was great, and Jesus paid it all! Just the thought of His grace overwhelms me at times!

A friend of mine has a great testimony. It's really pretty horrible if you think about it. He was simply awful. He was a real scum! (I am being rather facetious.) When he was growing up, the worst thing he ever remembers doing, was one time, in the eighth grade...now wait a minute.....are you sure you're ready for this.....HE SKIPPED THE CHURCH CHOIR PRACTICE ONE NIGHT!

Can you believe it? And God's going to let HIM into Heaven! Wow! There's still hope for me!

Seriously, I wish that was my testimony! I wish I could hide the painful past sometimes. I wish I could do as God does, and forgive myself, then forget that it ever happened. I wish I could not use my past against me.

But folks, I think you need to know, some of my past just ain't pretty!

I have sinned, and continue to! Sometimes I get caught in the trap of Satan and I find myself in a mess of trouble.

But, let me tell you also, when I consider how much God did for me; how far He had to come to rescue me; when I recognize how great His grace is in my life; then I can't help but assign Him all my love!

God has been so good to me, what else can I give Him but my all?

Tell your friends about this ministry. Why not forward a copy of the email to those you think might benefit from reading a Mustard Seed? Some churches use it as a supplement to their discipleship program. Perhaps your church would be interested in doing this. All I ask is that credit be given to the ministry.
