I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.
I Am Found In You

The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17 NIV
I don't know what comfort you are looking for today, but maybe this verse will help.
When my son Nathaniel was just a small baby, I remember hearing his mother sing to him each night, "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy, when skies are grey. You'll never know dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away." She would watch him as he slept, and sing that song over and over again. There was no doubt you were witnessing a mother's love.
Did you know your Creator sings over you? Think about that for a moment. The God who formed the mountains and shaped each valley, who sends forth the sunlight and spoke the stars into existence; the maker of rain takes great delight in you!
I love my pastor. I have a real pastor's pastor. He cares for his flock as well as any pastor I've ever known. I attend a church with over 5,000 members, which keeps him very busy. Still, in spite of our church size, my pastor keeps pretty good track of most all of his people. As a deacon and Sunday School teacher, I have occassion to be in the presence of my pastor quite often. You know what, though? I would venture to say that there are moments of each day that my pastor doesn't think about me. And, to my knowledge, he has never "sang over" me. (Which is probably good. He's a far better preacher and pastor than he is a singer!)
Your God takes great delight in you because you are His most excellent creation. Into you He breathed His Spirit. For you He sent His Son! You are so special to God, that not only does He delight in you, but He watches over you; cares for you; quiets you with His love, and yes, if you're still enough before Him for a while, you just may hear Him sing a song or two about you.
