I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
Sing, Sing a Song
By: Ron Edmondson Monday, October 06, 1997
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart tusts in Him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song. Psalm 28:7 NIV

Can you sing? I'm not asking can you sing well, just can you sing? I know it is not something most of us do in public very often, but I encourage you to look around today. Has God blessed you?

Are you breathing? Has He promised you a hope and a future? Did He send His Son for you? Did you receive Him and was your name written (with permanent ink) in the Book of Life? Are you going to Heaven someday where there will be no more pain, no more sorrow, only joy, peace, and sharing in the glory of our Creator and Redeemer? Are you excited about His endless love and comforting hand that will guide you through the trials of life simply because you are His child? Is Jesus more real to you today than He was five years ago?

Did Jesus promise to leave you with a counselor called the Holy Spirit who will intercede for you with groans that words cannot express? Is Romans 8:28 still in your Bible? What about John 3:16? And Exodus 14:14? Psalm 23? Jeremiah 33:3?

Then what are you waiting for? Get those vocal chords shaking my friend! Let's hear a whistle coming from those lips of yours! Get that heart a pumping, baby! Let the world know that God is your God! He is not some figure in a great work of literature. He is not a terrific story of long ago. He is not a foreign dignitary without regard for your life. He is G O D ! Your Savior, your Father, your friend! He is the one asking for your troubles, because He cares for you!

There now, I'm beginning to hear something. That's a catchy tune, and a catchy attitude. Someone just might see Jesus in you today!

Are you taking any requests?
