I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
Reminder
By: Ron Edmondson Tuesday, September 30, 2008
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish. John 21:6 NIV

Today, we can have victory in life if we will throw our nets on the right side. We will prosper abundantly, experience great peace and joy, and find wisdom for daily living when we cast our nets on the right side.

The right side is where Jesus is! The right side is where the Creator and Sustainer of all is located. The right side is where you and I find the hope of the world. The right side is the place of grace!

The disciples had struggled all night, but had caught nothing. Peter had left early in the evening to go fishing. The disciples tagged along. They were still sulking perhaps over the absence of the Teacher (Jesus). He had been their leader, their counselor, and most of all, their friend.

Jesus had gone, just as He said He would, and now the disciples had to face a dark, sometimes scary world all alone– at least they thought. Suddenly a voice cries out to them, “Throw the nets on the right side.” When they do, they are unable to haul in the catch.

Peter is the first to realize it is the Lord. He jumps out of the boat and runs ashore to Jesus. The reunion is a bittersweet time. Good breakfast, good conversation just like old times, but Jesus must leave and return to the Father.

The disciples have another reminder left with them. They shall never forget that on the right side of the boat is where the fish are, and in life, on the right side is where Jesus is.

Jesus is always right. Choose Him this day and every day. Your catch will overflow. Your life will be fully rewarded. Choose Jesus!
