I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.
I Am Found In You

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Matthew 5:8 NIV
The snow has been beautiful this year. Oh, I know, here in Tennessee we don't really know what pretty snow looks like, but what we have had has been exceptionally pleasing to the eye. A few times it seemed like everything out our window was white. Pure, untouched, crisp, clean, white.
A friend, who has a beautiful Spitz dog, said he had always thought that the dog was white....until the dog went outside to play in the snow. Suddenly that "white" dog was a dirty looking tan.
Sin is that way. Small as it may seem it darkens our appearance when compared to the perfect holiness of our God. God, being Holy, absent of any sin, cannot tolerate any sin into His presence...none! Even our little "white" lies become dark spots on our character when they seek to appear before God.
Those who are pure in heart...who seek to place the righteousness of God as a primary goal....who discpline themselves to remain pure...who ask forgiveness regularly...who run to God in dispair...and who keep themselves from wordly ways, as best as they can...they are the ones who can really see God.
This word "see" might be said...can KNOW God. To know God will require purity, not just in actions, but mainly in attitude. The general direction and ambition of your life is to please God and to do His will if you are to be pure in heart.
God is earnestly seeking those who are pure in heart. He wants you to know Him; to see Him; and to bless you in every way!

Tell your friends about this ministry. Why not forward a copy of the email to those you think might benefit from reading a Mustard Seed? Some churches use it as a supplement to their discipleship program. Perhaps your church would be interested in doing this. All I ask is that credit be given to the ministry.
