I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.
I Am Found In You

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? Psalms 42:2 NIV
The last year has been a real challenge for me, as I have sought the Lord’s will for my new full-time ministry. It’s a challenge to discern the will of God when there are more ministry opportunities than there are times within the day to meet them. I have often found myself praying something like this: “Oh, God, I know you are here, but please just let me know what you want me to do!”
Have you ever been desperate for God? Have you ever passionately desired an audience with the living God? Has there ever been a time when you didn’t want to hear anyone’s opinion except God? Perhaps you are going through a time right now when you feel your only hope is God!
I can’t answer why God sometimes seems silent, but I do know this. His answer is worth waiting for. God is a God who is worthy of our patience. Furthermore, I’m convinced that in the quietness of God there is still the activity of God. God is working, behind the scenes, to bring about a plan far better than anything you or I could have ever imagined.
I can’t promise that you and I will hear the final word from God this year, but I am certain that, when the final chapter is written to our life, it will have God’s stamp of approval all over it. God is Sovereign. He does care. God does watch over His children; and God truly does work all things for good!
You and I should continue to thirst for the Living God!
