It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings. Proverbs 25:2 NIV
I don't know if cloning will ever work. I'm not sure we can duplicate a goat to be just like another goat. I can't comprehend a "super" bull being duplicated into other even more super bulls. And, I can't seem to stretch my mind enough to fathom the manufacture of twin species of humans. Can you imagine two of some of the people you know walking the Earth?
I don't know if there will ever be a cure for cancer, or aids, or heart disease. We may never get a computer that can fully "think" for us. Who knows if there is really life in other galaxies? When will the sun burn out? How fast will our ozone layer deplete? How many more people can our planet hold and still maintain adequate oxygen and food? Will there ever be a nuclear war?
And what about the Bible: Could God really create the world in six days? What was He thinking when He made the mosquitoes? How did God get all the animals to volunteer for the ark ride? What did the fish think when the water split? How did Jesus calm the storm?
I must confess...I DON'T KNOW!
But, the fact that I don't know...and for that matter...neither do you in most cases...only gives God the glory! He does know! He knows the answers to these and all the other questions. We may get the glory when we discover a new cure, find a new planet, or invent a new machine, but God gets all the glory because He knew the answer before it entered our feeble minds!
God is God! The Author and Creator of this universe! Yes, there are many things I/we don't understand! That just means He is God....and we aren't!
Praise Him today for having ALL the answers!
