My radio partner calls it a snake light. God looks deep into the soul of a man to see what he is made of. That’s one of the reasons, I believe, that God is quick to test our hearts, so that He and we can discover what is in our core being.
Have you ever known someone, but then as you got to know them better your thoughts about them changed. Maybe you liked them more or you liked them less, but getting to know them broadened your understanding of them. God knows you better than anyone else. He even knows you better than you know yourself.
Yea…I agree….that’s kind of scary. I’m afraid of what He might see when He looks that deep into my life. Here’s the good news. God loves us anyway; in spite of what He sees deep inside of us.
Can you say Amen to that?
