I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
Proverbs 1:22

How long will you simple ones love your simple ways? Proverbs 1:22 NIV

Sin is simple. Doing things my way is simple. Being selfish comes easily. Trusting is hard work. Walking in obedience is costly. Doing the right thing is not always as “fun” as doing what I may want to do.

But, the question remains as Solomon asked it, “How long will you simple ones love your simple ways?” How long am I going to be satisfied with the partial obedience in my life? How long am I going to be content not fully following God’s plan for my life?

I can keep on doing the “simple” things, but it would seem to me, that if I really want to experience the fullness of God’s grace and glory that I would want to get in on His plan. God doesn’t have a 50/50 or even an 80/20 plan. God wants full devotion.

Not easy to do, but it’s the best plan available! Having seen just glimpses of the other side (when I do live in obedience), nothing compares to the peace and joy of living in the state of conformity to the righteousness of God.

Tell your friends about this ministry. Why not forward a copy of the email to those you think might benefit from reading a Mustard Seed? Some churches use it as a supplement to their discipleship program. Perhaps your church would be interested in doing this. All I ask is that credit be given to the ministry.
