I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
Plead my case...Two

You are God my stronghold. Why have you rejected me? Why must I go about mourning,

oppressed by the enemy? Psalm 43:2 NIV

As strong as the Psalmist’s faith is, even after reminding himself about God’s unfailing love, there are still periods of great doubt; elements of wonder. “Why would God allow these things to happen to me? Why doesn’t God do something about my pain? Does God really care?”

Have you ever had feelings like this before? If you are a normal, functioning Christian you have.

God didn’t build us as robots, and He doesn’t control our every thought. He knows that we are frail beings, incapable of perfection on our own. When we try to do something apart from Christ, we will fail, because, as Jesus said, “apart from Me you can do nothing”.

If you and I could keep God’s thoughts as our thoughts, all the time, we would never fall into the sin trap of worry. If we could keep a constant eternal, heavenly perspective, we wouldn’t suffer from the pain of feeling as if we are being rejected by God.

God’s love never fails. His mercies are new every morning. Great is His faithfulness. Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. He is working all things for good.

All these wonderful truths and more are the anchors for our soul. Our goal is to live more and more each day in the reality of these truths, rather than the feelings produced by keeping our thoughts in the world.

Mustard Seed Ministry is reaching around the world with Biblical truths. The ministry is designed to spur the Christian from the smallest amount of faith, onto spiritual growth and maturity. This ministry goes places the church cannot enter. If you would like to support the work of this ministry, send contributions to Mustard Seed Ministry, PO Box 3698, Clarksville, TN 37043, or through Pay Pal (www.paypal.com) to ron.mustardseed@Christweb.com email address.
Tell your friends about this ministry. Why not forward a copy of the email to those you think might benefit from reading a Mustard Seed? Some churches use it as a supplement to their discipleship program. Perhaps your church would be interested in doing this. All I ask is that credit be given to the ministry. If you need help or have questions, please email me at ron.mustardseed@Christweb.com
