God cares about you! Doesn't that get you excited today?
God looks down, sees you in your distress, and sends His ministering angels to care for you. He hears your cries of pain and He sets forth a plan to restore you in the fullness of time. He watches over you as you sleep, planning ways to bless you as you rise, and as you go about your day.
God is in the business of caring for His children! Isn't that what any good Dad would do?
I must be honest, it is overwhelming to me to realize that God cares for me as He does. Sometimes, when I am deep in a pity party, I think God is no where to be found. I think He has forsaken me somehow, that I am the last one on Earth who will ever receive His hand of mercy.
I have a tendancy at times to do the same thing to those around me. When I am down, I assume no one else can understand, and certainly no one really cares. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong, where God is concerned!
God cares for you and me, because He created you and me. He carefully planned each cell in our bodies, so that we would be just who He wanted us to be. When times of trouble come, He is the first to know it, because He knows the inner workings of our souls. He made them.
Know today that there is a God who cares for you. Let His love overcome you as you look to Him for all your strength!
