I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.
I Am Found In You

And God will open wide the gates of Heaven for you to enter into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:11 NLT
No, scripture has not contradicted itself. Yes, just as Jesus said, the gate to Heaven is narrow (Matt. 7:13-14). The road that leads to Heaven is very small. The only way to gain eternity is through the Son Jesus. It is not of works, lest anyone should boast, but only by the grace of God by way of Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. There is no other plan.
So, what is Peter talking about? He's talking about the gate to Heaven AFTER you are saved. You see, once you accept Jesus, it isn't hard to enter Heaven. In fact, while the gate was once narrow, for you He has now opened it widely. He has given you instant access to His throne room so you can enter boldly. Your road to Heaven has been perfectly, and I believe permanently, paved by the blood of Jesus.
Dear Christian friend, stand firm and let nothing stand in your way of pleasing your Father. Continue to serve the Lord faithfully as you eagerly await His return. You have been set aside, because of your faith, to receive the richness of His wonder!
You have nothing to fear in this fallen world. If you know Jesus, really know Him, then the gates to Heaven will open wide for you! Praise Him for that truth today!

Tell your friends about this ministry. Why not forward a copy of the email to those you think might benefit from reading a Mustard Seed? Some churches use it as a supplement to their discipleship program. Perhaps your church would be interested in doing this. All I ask is that credit be given to the ministry.
