I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
No Condemnation
By: Ron Edmondson Wednesday, February 18, 1998
"Then neither do I condemn you." Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin." John 8:11 NIV

A friend called me today. She is feeling less than good about herself these days. Her church is telling her she is not good enough. Because of some sins of her family, the church has taken the approach of disciplining her as well. My heart was heavy for her.

Why is it that the Pharisees of the Bible are still around today? What ever happened to forgiveness? Has anyone heard of restoration? Can there still be a redemption of our souls?

Now, please be sure, I am not advocating the right to sin! Absolutely not! Jesus said, "go and sin no more." Paul said that we should no longer be slaves to sin. Sin should not be our motive, our motive should be to love God, love our neighbors, and strive to conform to the image of Christ. There is no sin within that goal.

But, we will sin; we will fail; we will fall from that high goal we have set for ourselves. Oh, we may get better in actions each day, and inwardly, as our heart is renewed, we may look more and more like our Savior. But, unless you are so much more spiritual than I am, we will still make mistakes.

Thank God for the forgiveness that comes to us by His grace! Thank you God for not turning us away when we fail! Thank you Lord for having open arms to accept us when we call upon your name!

Jesus Christ came and died on the cross so that our sins might be eternally forgiven and placed into the sea of forgetfulness. The Bible says God takes are forgiven sins and throws them as far as the East is from the West? (I have tried to measure that, and I keep running out of tape measure.) God is an active, living, personal God who cares not that one of us should be gone from His presence. We can't come to Him with sin, so He made a provision for us called grace.

And grace is available for the asking! No stipulations, no special clauses, no hoops to jump, no laws to obey, no certain time of day....just grace.....free, simple....abundant.... G R A C E ! ! !

If you will humbly seek forgiveness, grace is available to you today! The Bible said so!
