I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.
I Am Found In You

Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before. Joshua 3:4a NIV
If your life is like mine, you will soon encounter something you have never experienced before. Will you know how to handle it?
Life is full of twists and turns, isn't it? Just when you think you have a situation figured out, the rules seem to change. The operative word in today's workplace is C H A N G E. With each new step comes a certain amount of the unknown. Will we adapt to the change? Will our customers; our employees?
There are changes in the church today. Of course, God, nor His Word, ever changes, but the way we minister to people changes. The face of our churches is changing. We see more single family homes, there is a larger elderly population, and churches it seems are having to increase activities in order to continue to attract today's "highly entertained" society.
And we have changes in our own lives. Each of us have our own set of problems, from dealing with health issues, to financial challeges, to relationship problems. Life is constantly sending us changes. I know a couple who recently retired. They had made elaborate travel plans, but the wife got very sick. Suddenly their plans changed.
So what is my point? In today's verse, Joshua's officers were preparing God's people for change. They were being instructed to be ready to experience some times they had never seen before. How were they to be prepared? By ridding their lives of sin and getting as close to God as possible!
Folks, this world is taking us places and exposing us to things we have never seen before. Are you prepared?
Get close to Christ and He will direct your path!
