I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
My Advice (from God)
By: Ron Edmondson Tuesday, January 30, 2001
O our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you." 2 Chronicles 20:12 NIV

The Israelites were about to face an army bigger than they had ever seen. They were afraid. They didn't know what to do. They called upon God for advice.

Are you at a time in your life when you just don't know what to do?

Recently I received a note from a reader of Mustard Seeds. She has corresponed with me before over the last couple of years. I have noticed that she is a Christian, who loves the Lord, but having just graduated from college, and trying to find her way, she struggles to find God's will for her life. If I may, I would like to share with you some of the advice I gave to her, which I feel was led of the Lord.

"You are simply a normal, struggling to find God's will, Christian. I honestly think you are probably too hard on yourself about what you should do and not do. What you should do, in my opinion, is more

of what you are doing: Keeping your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfector of your faith. I like the man who said in Mark 9:24 "Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, 'I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!'

If you are a believer, a child of the King. You are not perfect. You are not sinless. You are not without possibility of failure. You are a fragile creature who can do nothing apart from Jesus (John 15:5) My honest, sincere, loving advice is that you need to quit trying to be perfect, and allow God to work His perfection in you. I know that may not seem to make a whole lot of practical sense, especially when you don't seem to hear clear direction from God, but over time, through Bible study and prayer, resting before Him, waiting on Him, He will mold your heart into a heart just like His.

As you daily trust Him, He will lead you step by step into the center of His will. It is my experience that He will not give you the end picture of how He is getting you there, but He will reveal to you as much as you need to know, while He is already at work, perfecting the outcome for your good, and for the glory of His name. There will be times when you are forced to make decisions. After you have spent time in prayer and have checked to make sure it doesn't conflict with God's written Word, then make the decision with the wisdom God has granted you. He will order your steps as you trust in Him. (Proverbs 16:9)

If it helps any to know, I'm not completely there either, and I really don't know too many who are, but I am learning more each day, that I cannot do it alone, and I am not supposed to try."

May God richly bless you as you allow HIM to make your way!
