I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman

From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise Psalm 8:2 NIV

Every year I went to Brazil, it was the children that most grabbed my heart. Their innocence and their beauty attracted me to them. I went before my wife was able to go. When I came home and told her I thought about bringing some home with me, I’m sure she didn’t get a full concept of where my heart was. Her first trip she fell in love with a little boy named Raphael (pronounced Ha Fi El), She too has left a part of her in Brazil. Raphael's picture can be found in our home now.

The poor children, many who will never know any better lifestyle than they have right now, could be dismissed as nuisances of society. That is what many of the wealthy consider them in Brazil. It is probably true that without intervention, most will end up using or dealing in drugs. Some will depend on crime as a lifestyle. Many, especially some of the boys, will die before they reach mid-life, through various causes.

But, when I see them, I’m reminded, that according to God’s Word, (and Jesus repeated today’s verse in Matthew) these children reflect God’s glory. God was at His best when He created a little child. That child, made in the image of God, just the way He planned them, was not a mistake. Sometimes children may not have been planned by their parents, but God’s design of them was not an accident. God knitted the children of Brazil together, just as He did my two boys. They are just as special to Him.

Will you do me a favor? Will you, sometime today, look into the eyes of a little child? See the glory of God expressed through them. Let God ordain His praise through the face of a little one. And, remind yourself that God knows and loves that child, just as He loves you! And, if you have a child in your home, give him or her a hug for me! Tell them I said that God is glorified in them.

Mustard Seed Ministry is reaching around the world with Biblical truths. The ministry is designed to spur the Christian from the smallest amount of faith, onto spiritual growth and maturity. This ministry goes places the church cannot enter. If you would like to support the work of this ministry, send contributions to Mustard Seed Ministry, PO Box 3698, Clarksville, TN 37043, or through Pay Pal (www.paypal.com) to ron.mustardseed@Christweb.com email address.
Tell your friends about this ministry. Why not forward a copy of the email to those you think might benefit from reading a Mustard Seed? Some churches use it as a supplement to their discipleship program. Perhaps your church would be interested in doing this. All I ask is that credit be given to the ministry. If you need help or have questions, please email me at ron.mustardseed@Christweb.com
