I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.
I Am Found In You

Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel. Ephesians 6:19 NIV
First let me start this thought by saying thank you. Mustard Seeds is now in its third year of daily weekday devotionals. I thank God for allowing me this awesome priviledge. Thank you for putting up with me that long. I also thank Richard and the Christweb team for hosting this site and patiently working with this sometimes "computer idiot". You really have no idea how many times these messages almost didn't go out, but Richard (by God's grace) worked it out.
This ministry really has amazed me. Maybe you never heard the story, but in 1997 I got my first home computer. When I signed on to the Internet, I began to explore different sites. To make a long story short, one night, after all my family went to bed, in my "surfing" of the web, I uncovered a pornographic site. Just as the page was about to download, my oldest son put his hand on my shoulder. It scared me to death. Right then, God convicted me that if I wanted to "play" with this new toy, I had to find a way to give Him the glory! After some praying, Mustard Seeds was born.
I enjoy trying to find the obscure, under-used verses from the Word of God and expanding upon them in an attempt to bring honor to the name above all names. I take situations from my life and those around me and try to make sense out of them by applying them to scripture. I firmly believe that every letter and punctuation in the Bible is true and suitable for teaching.
I seldom try to promote this ministry. Maybe I should. I receive hundreds of emails each year. We now have over 1,000 daily subscribers all over the world and many of these are forwarded on to other addresses, used on other web sites and in church bulletins and devotionals. I have even been approached about compiling some of them into a short book. I say maybe I should, because I believe also that it is our responsibility as Christians to spread the Good News. If people are being ministered by God through this simple devotional, then perhaps it should be shared to all who will receive it?
Let me ask you to do me a favor. First, please pray for me and this ministry. I strongly feel the prayers and encouragement I receive from the readers. Pray that God will open my heart to His Word, fill me with His presence, and motivate me through His Spirit. Then, will you tell someone about Mustard Seeds? Will you forward one or two of your favorites and invite someone to subscribe? I don't ask this to increase my fame, but to increase the glory I hope it points to the precious name of my Savior, Jesus Christ!
Thank you! And, please, let me hear from you, real soon.
