I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
Love
By: Ron Edmondson Friday, January 01, 1999
Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself'". Matthew 22:37-39 NIV

In 1999, let's strive to keep God's greatest commandments...to LOVE!

If you think about it, God is love. God, from the very beginning, was love. Love was the reason for all creation. Out of love, God sent His son to live among us, walk to the cross, and raise from the grave. By His love, we are saved. Through His love, you and I walk in abundant life.

Love is what causes God to intervene in our lives. Love is what brings the peace of God that surpasses all our understanding. Love is what provides us with His mercy and grace!

Doesn't it then make sense, that what God requests most from us is to love? We are to love Him as He has first loved us. We are to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.

Two simple commands.

In 1999, let's you and I commit to pleasing God by keeping His first and second greatest commandment! Let's see if it doesn't change the world around us!
