I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.
I Am Found In You

The LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him, "Now lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward; for all the land which you see, I will give it to you and to your descendants forever. Genesis 13:14-15 NASU
After Lot, Abram’s nephew, left him with the choice land Abram had allowed him to have, God said to Abram, "Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west. “. Abram had humbly offered Lot the best of the land. In doing so he trusted God to care for him regardless of his current land situation. Abram (We know him as Abraham) knew that if he was to be a man who trusted God he would not be able to rest on his own strength. He would have to rely on God.
Do you know that fact? If you are a follower of God, have you clued in yet that God is not a “co-pilot”. He doesn’t “partner” with you. God wants to take over. God wants to lead your life. He wants to inhabit your every thought and move. He wants you to completely surrender everything you have to Him.
It almost sounds as if God is controlling. The fact is, however, that He is; if we will let Him be. He doesn’t force Himself on us, but if we will submit to His leadership, He will take over. That may sound intimidating, but keep in mind two things before you conclude you aren’t interested. One, God loves you more than you could ever imagine. Two, God’s ways are better than your ways. If you submit your will to God; you win!
God offers to take over your life. Consider the offer. (If you are like me; you have a few things in your life you are more than ready to surrender.)
