I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
Kindness to Repentance, One
By: Ron Edmondson Monday, March 13, 2006
Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance? Romans 2:4 NIV

This is the type of series which can make or break a ministry. I expect that some subscriptions to this daily email will drop. There will be many who will take offense to these writings. I only ask that you open your heart and judge them based on the Word of God. I believe that Scripture, working together in its entirety, will prove that this doctrine is truth.

I want you to consider how the church today reaches people with the Gospel. Recently I heard of another protest at an abortion clinic. The latest craze is to boycott certain companies that supposedly support what we as believers think is wrong. Please don’t misunderstand something. Wrong is wrong and it is defined by God’s standards, not the standards of man. There are many things wrong in this world today. As I look around, I see lots of sin in the world. I’m not suggesting that we should ignore sin, or even “look the other way”. During this series I want to consider the best way to reach people with the Gospel. How can we best open the door of evangelism?

Before you answer, consider again today’s opening verse, especially the last phrase. Did you realize that it is God’s kindness that leads to repentance?
