I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman

“Even if he wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, forgive him." Luke 17:4 NLT

I hope if this devotional applies to you, the Spirit of God will use it in your situation.

I have seen parents hold grudges for years. Don’t be one of those parents. If you are going to parent your children like God parents you, you’ll need to give multiple chances and forgive easily. Jesus was liberal with forgiveness. Shouldn’t we do likewise?

We have a hard time offering forgiveness, but we have an easy time expecting it to be given to us from others. God has given me so many chances. Shouldn’t I do the same for my children?

Do your children know they are “okay” with you? Or, do they constantly fear how you might react to them? If your child does something wrong, how long does it take for them to be in your “favor” again?

Your children will make mistakes. Guess who they inherited that trait from? How many chances has God had to give you?

Tell your friends about this ministry. Why not forward a copy of the email to those you think might benefit from reading a Mustard Seed? Some churches use it as a supplement to their discipleship program. Perhaps your church would be interested in doing this. All I ask is that credit be given to the ministry.
