I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
It is Better by Far
By: Ron Edmondson Wednesday, April 07, 1999
It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. Psalm 118:8 NIV

The commercials make life look great, don't they? If I could look as good, drive my car as fast, eat such delightful meals, while losing so much weight, so I can wear such fashionable clothes; charged on my credit card, that is paid off with my investment interest; while I relax on the deck of my cruise to a warm tropical paradise; then I'm quite sure I would have no problems in life.

But, the fact is, life ain't all pleasure! It just doesn't turn out like the commercials often claim. And, its not just the commercials that let me down. Can any of us name any individual in our life that hasn't at least one time disappointed us? No! You and I know that there are no perfect people!

The quicker I learn that my ultimate trust can only be in my personal Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, the sooner I can allow Him to make me complete. This world is NOT my home. I cannot and will not be satisfied by what man has attempted to create. Only the Creator, God, can fulfill all my needs.

And, it is in Him that I will seek my refuge!

Tell your friends about this ministry. Why not forward a copy of the email to those you think might benefit from reading a Mustard Seed? Some churches use it as a supplement to their discipleship program. Perhaps your church would be interested in doing this. All I ask is that credit be given to the ministry.
