I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
Interpretation
By: Ron Edmondson Monday, January 11, 1999
Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don't know how to interpret this present time? Luke 12:56 NIV

It's getting cloudy outside again. Looks like it might rain. No, I think it's cold enough to snow.

I'm not very old, but you know, I'm pretty good at judging a cloudy day from a sunny day. When the clouds roll in, I know precipitation is a possibility. On sunny days, I rarely take my umbrella.

Jesus knew this. He knew we could interpret the seasons. When the squirrels in my back yard begin to gather nuts, I know winter is not far behind.

Why then should I be surprised at the times? Why does it surprise me when people are lovers of self and money? Why do wars and rumors of wars find me off guard? How come I am shocked at the destruction of our homes and the activity of Satan?

Shouldn't I be watching for the famines of the earth? Aren't earthquakes to be expected? Do the false prophets surprise me still?

Is hatred toward fellow man, or persucution of Christians, not to be the norm?

Jesus is coming again soon. Signs of the times are everywhere! He told us to look and listen, and to be prepared!

Is that a trumpet rehearsal I hear?
