I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.
I Am Found In You

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Matthew 5:6 NIV
I stopped by the convenience store on the way home tonight to fill up with gas. I just couldn't resist the cookies and cream candy bar (have you tried it yet? It is really good!). I know I don't need it, but it looked so good, I just couldn't resist.
Aren't we that way about a lot of things? Have you ever been really disciplined at the Thanksgiving dinner table? Do you "just eat one" potato chip....ever? Can you walk away from a cool glass of lemonade after mowing the lawn in July?
Could you get your taste buds going over a hot fudge cake with vanilla bean ice cream, smothered in hot, rich, creamy milk chocolate topping and splash with fresh made cool whip.......and, of course, a cherry? Or maybe yours is southern fried chicken, gourmet coffees, homemade vegetable soup, roast, potatoes and gravy, or (insert your favorite here)? Whatever your hunger or thirst calls for, you do know what the sensation feels like, don't you?
Then have you ever had that same feeling for righteousness? Have you ever longed so for righteousness or the absence of sin, that your stomach (or your heart) growled?
Children of God, until we get serious about sin it will have a lasting hold on our life!
Are you hungry yet?
