I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
His Words Remembered
By: Ron Edmondson Thursday, October 30, 2008
Then they remembered His words. Luke 24:8

Pretty short, huh? Do you think you can memorize this verse? Can you plant it deeply in your heart and be able to draw on it at any time? Better yet, will you be able to do what the verse says?

In the Bible passage where this appears, two women were going through some very difficult days. The last week had been very stressful leading up to witnessing their best friend dying on a cross. There was an element of doubt in their minds. Now Jesus’s body had disappeared. Could it get any worse?

Then they remembered His words. (Thank you, Holy Spirit, for reminding us of His words.) Jesus said He would rise again. He said the temple of God could not be destroyed. He said He would give us victory over sin. He said He would never leave us nor forsake us. He said He would give us power to face any storm of life. He said He would grant us peace and joy abundantly. He said He would come again! He said that someday, every knee would bow and every tongue would confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! Amen!

Remember His words today! Praise God, they are still true today!
