Jesus is in control!
I am always disheartened when people talk about Satan's attack on their life as if it is a hopeless situation. Sometimes they seem to believe they are helpless against the Devil's schemes. (I must admit, there have been times in my life when I have felt the same way.) Often we get caught in a trap, which I'm sure Satan enjoys, of thinking he is in control.
Make no mistake about it folks, Jesus is in charge! The evil spirits of this world are active. It doesn't take a theologin to recognize that fact. Satan is busy, because his days are numbered, but regardless of his activity, Jesus is the Administrator of all the events taking place in the world today.
Throughout the Bible, evil spirits not only recognized Christ, they obeyed Him every time. Christ has ultimate control! Nothing that happens in the life of a Christian escapes the oversight of our Master and Savior Jesus Christ.
So today, when evil comes your way, don't panic, don't fear. Turn to the One who holds the keys to life and victory. Turn to Jesus, the Author and Perfector of our faith. Put you trust in Jesus, who alone cares for your every need. Cast your cares on Him, because He cares for you!
After all, He is in charge!
