I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.
I Am Found In You

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a NIV
Happy Valentines Day to the sweetest wife in the world!
I know I’m a day late, but I was in the middle of a series. Plus, my wife wouldn’t expect anything less from me. (I am not a huge “special events” person. I’m working on it…somewhat.)
I seldom use this medium for personal gain, but I hope you will allow me this space to once again pay tribute to my wife. She has, since our beginning, known that my love for Christ would always come first. So, when I spend countless hours typing out Mustard Seeds, or answering replies to readers, or when I spend most every Saturday morning working on Sunday School lessons, she understands. She knows my life is not complete without serving my Lord. She not only understands, but she participates right there beside me.
Recently, on a Wednesday night at church, I watched my wife as she ministered to some of the young couples in our class. The fact that God has blessed my life with her was so overwhelming to me at the time. He has grown her into a wonderful helpmate for my ministry. Together we make a pretty good team! Thank you God for the practical way you meet my needs through my wife!
One of the greatest joys in my life, is knowing that my wife is always in my corner…even when no one else is. She shows me respect and actually admires me! Can you imagine that? (Man, is she misguided in her trust at times!) With her “walk through fire” tenacity, she loves me and our two boys certainly beyond what we deserve. In all of God’s creation He has not produced anything that can compare to the love of a committed, Christian wife and mother.
I know Mustard Seeds is read by more women than men. So, if you are a woman, may I also pay tribute to you today. God was at His best when He created you! The greatest gift you can ever give the man in your life is to respect him and to appreciate him. My wife does this for me so well.
Men, my encouragement to you today is that you will love your wife as Christ loves the church. That is one of my chief goals in life. Show them that they are valuable. Commit your life to them, so they never have to fear your intent where they are concerned. Be men of character of whom your wife can take pride.
May God richly bless all your homes with love that is modeled by Christ. May He use our marriages as instruments towards His perfect will!

Tell your friends about this ministry. Why not forward a copy of the email to those you think might benefit from reading a Mustard Seed? Some churches use it as a supplement to their discipleship program. Perhaps your church would be interested in doing this. All I ask is that credit be given to the ministry.
