I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
Good Guys Win
By: Ron Edmondson Friday, September 26, 2008
They are free from the burdens common to man; they are not plagued by human ills. Psalm 73:5 NIV

What a great verse! I wish I could say it applied to you, my Christian friend.

The Psalmist was talking about the wicked. You see, he says that he almost slipped and joined them. The wicked seemed to prosper. The wicked seemed to get by with murder. The wicked seemed to never have troubles. The wicked seemed to have it all going for them!

The Psalmist thought, “Hey, that could be me! Here I am humbly serving God, and I am the one with all the struggles! That doesn't seem fair to me.”

I know you can't relate, can you? I know you have never seen someone get away easy in their life of sin. I know you have never felt as though your good deeds went without notice. I'm sure you have never envied someone who served and loved less, but acquired and kept more. Right?

My friend, the Psalmist knew and we know that our picture is not yet complete. Faithful servant, your reward is coming! Your future is bright! God is waiting to richly bless you in His timing!

The end of the story has been written. The good guys (those saved by the blood of Jesus) do win! Jesus will not forsake us. We will share in His glory.

The Psalmist ends by saying “it is good for me to be near to God,” and I certainly agree. I'm on God's team and we win!

In spite of any trouble you may face, act like a winner today!

Tell your friends about this ministry. Why not forward a copy of the email to those you think might benefit from reading a Mustard Seed? Some churches use it as a supplement to their discipleship program. Perhaps your church would be interested in doing this. All I ask is that credit be given to the ministry.
