I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
God Created Man
By: Ron Edmondson Tuesday, February 01, 2000
So God crated man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genisis 1:27 NIV

The world is selling us some half truths and bold faced lies about our origins. You and I did not evolve from monkeys; our ancestors are not tadpoles or amoeba. We are created beings! We have had life breathed into us directly from our Creator. We are God's most excellent!

My maternal Grandmother is 87 years young. Several years ago she gave up quilting. Prior to that she had made dozens of quilts for people, several of those are in my home today. These quilts are very special to us because of the time my Grandmother hand stitched each part.

In the winter, we like to keep the heat low and the temperature cool. Instead of heat, we prefer to wrap in quilts; especially the quilts my Grandmother made. Now, I have some store bought quilts. The are pretty, well made, and come in very handy when I am cold. But, do you know what makes them different? My Grandmother didn't make them. When our new puppy wants to chew on a blanket, I can assure you it won't be the ones Grandma made. Grandma's quilts are special to me, because she made them.

Folks, the reason we don't value life today is because we don't see them as special because of their Creator. God hand stitched you and me in our mother's wombs. Each cell of our bodies has the fingerprints of God all over them. We have been designed and made by the Great I AM! When we fail to recognize that fact, we see us as only products of chance circumstances. We become no more important than randomly produced, factory made quilts on the after Christmas clearance tables.

The value of our life is that we are made within the image of God. I know it is not a good comparison, but just like my Grandmother's quilts are important to my family, you are important to God. It is time we teach this to our society again!
