I Am Found In You

He replied, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them." Matthew 13:11 NIV
Are you in, or not? I know that seems like a silly, maybe even irreverent question, but this verse (as they all are) is true. If you are a child of God, then you hold within your heart the ability to grow in the knowledge of the kingdom of God. Take advantage of that blessing!
The Devil would have you believe today that he controls the world. He would make you think that he delivers truth. He would want you to imagine that God has lost control or had given it up to the Devil. He wants you to buy into his schemes.
Don't you believe the Devil's lies! God is still in control. Since the creation of the world, God's sovereign plan has been in effect. God has not relinquished one iota of His strength. God never changes, never! If the Devil has been feeding you lies, then you need to remind him that you have been given victory over sin and darkness. The devil is not in on your relationship with God. God is far more powerful than the Devil!
And you have been allowed into the family of God! Your personal decision to accept Christ opened many doors of opportunity for you to come to know Him. The mystery of God; His mercy, His grace, His love and understanding; the miracles of His creation, have all been made fair game for your discovery. With the benefit of the Spirit of God, you have the power necessary to study His word and apply the truth to your life.
The other side hasn't been giving this gift! Are you using that truth to the fullness for which it was intended? You are on the side of grace. What difference has that made in your life? You have the upper hand on this fallen world through your relationship with Jesus Christ!
Use it to His glory!
