I hope the shoe fits! But, I am glad technology won't yet allow you to throw something at me through this computer screen. (It won't, will it?) I hope I can call you a fool today! Wait...let me try...You fool! Whew! Safe so far!
I hope you are a fool for Christ today! If you lay down your life, all your desires, hopes, dreams, goals, plans, energies, pleasures for the sake of Christ, you may be called a fool for Christ. But guess what? That makes you wise! Can you say i r o n y ?
When you forsake all for Christ, He pours out His richness upon you. All the benefits of Heaven, that we can receive on Earth, are within your grasp. God richly rewards those who put Him first. In fact, the Bible says we can't even comprehend the blessings He has in store for us.
Would you sacrifice what you cannot keep for what you cannot lose? That is what we do when we put Christ first. We exchange earthly treasures for eternal rewards. Which will last longer?
I think it worked the first time, so let me try it again.... YOU FOOL! I hope it's the right size!
