I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
Finishing Well, Part 5
By: Ron Edmondson Friday, February 18, 2005
It is right that I should feel as I do about all of you, for you have a very special place in my heart. We have shared together the blessings of God, both when I was in prison and when I was out, defending the truth and telling others the Good News. Philippians 1:7 NLT

NOTE FROM YESTERDAY'S THOUGHT: Some of you actually read these things! There was a huge error in yesterday's Mustard Seed. I thought I had corrected it. One sentence should have read: The good news is that God has NOT (this word was omitted) given up on what He wants to accomplish in your life and He is working all things towards an ultimate good. Of course God is still working in our lives. We are living in the days of Grace.

Now, today's MST:

Paul had an investment in the life of the Philippians. It was right that he care about their spiritual well-being. Other people have an investment in you! It is right that they care for your spiritual growth.

Who is the person or persons that if you were to think back have had the biggest impact on your spiritual life? Maybe there was a pastor who first told you about Christ. Perhaps it was a mother or father who never gave up on you, but instead continued to pray for you. Is your spouse the person who has most encouraged you spiritually? Has there been a stronger Christian who has helped to encourage your spiritual growth?

Take some time today and encourage that person. Send them a note or email. Handwritten notes are much appreciated these days. Give them the encouragement they may need to keep encouraging others. Tell someone today that you are thankful for their investment in your life!

Tell your friends about this ministry. Why not forward a copy of the email to those you think might benefit from reading a Mustard Seed? Some churches use it as a supplement to their discipleship program. Perhaps your church would be interested in doing this. All I ask is that credit be given to the ministry.
