I always pray for you, and I make my requests with a heart full of joy Philippians 1:4 NLT
Continuing the thought process of yesterday, Paul was encouraged by the faithfulness of the Philippians. It made Paul spiritually proud to watch the Philippians.
I love to watch people grow in their faith. As a minister, I have seen people go both directions. When someone is saved and baptized they can either remain excited about their decision for Christ, or in a few months they can go back to many of the habits they had before receiving Christ and we see no real spiritual growth. The ones who remain excited and decide to actually grow up in Christ are the ones who fill my heart with joy.
I hope you belong to a Bible-teaching, Christ-led church. If so, do you make your pastor proud? Are you set apart, as the Scripture encourages, from a “normal” Christian lifestyle? The normal Christian appears to use a checkoff list for their attempt at spiritual growth. There appears to be a mind-set that if “I’ve attended church” or “put something in the offering plate” then I’m growing as a Christian. The one who is really growing, however, will be looking more like Christ everyday. Does that describe your life?
Live your life so that others can pray for you...with a heart full of joy!

Tell your friends about this ministry. Why not forward a copy of the email to those you think might benefit from reading a Mustard Seed? Some churches use it as a supplement to their discipleship program. Perhaps your church would be interested in doing this. All I ask is that credit be given to the ministry.
