I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
Finishing Well, Part 15
By: Ron Edmondson Friday, March 04, 2005
For to me, living is for Christ, and dying is even better. Philippians 1:21 NLT

There’s probably not a better passion testing verse in the Bible than today’s verse. Ask yourself the question, “Does that verse describe the truest part of my heart?”. Is life really all about Christ to you?

Several years ago I visited the grave of my great-grandparents. They had immigrated to this country from Germany. Their tombstone was written in German. On the tombstone were the German words for Philippians 1:21. “Fo me to live is Christ, and to die is great gain.” (NIV) I can’t describe to you in words the flood of emotions I felt when I realized my great-grandparents came to this country with a passion for Christ. I want my life to have that same passion.

How’s your passion? Yesterday I encouraged you to spend some time with God asking Him to reveal your passion and renew your passion. Today I encourage you again. Take some time alone with God and consider your passion for Him.

There is no greater life than a life sold-out to Christ. Whether you live or die it really is all about Jesus!
