For I live in eager expectation and hope that I will never do anything that causes me shame, but that I will always be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past, and that my life will always honor Christ, whether I live or I die. Philippians 1:20 NLT
The reason Paul could keep a proper motivation in life to serve Christ is because he always had a passion for Christ. If you and I want to be really motivated in our Christian service, then we need to have a strong, vibrant, daily renewed passion for Christ!
Today, I’m going to be brief in my comments. It should normally take you about 4-5 minutes to read this devotional. It will take you less today. I want to encourage you to take the remaining moments you would normally spend and pray something like this to God:
“God, look in my heart and reveal to me my passion for you. If it is not as deep a passion as you would like, please renew my passion.”
