I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
Finding People, Part 3

"Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?" Nathanael asked. "Come and see," said Philip. John 1:46 NIV

Nathanael wasn’t degrading the city of Nazareth. It was simply that Nazareth was a small town and one wouldn’t have expected such great news as a Messiah to come from there. It seems impossible for an obscure town to produce such an extraordinary miracle.

When you share the Gospel with others, some are going to question the logic. “Why would a God, who created the heavens and the earth, care for a sinner like me?” “How could a person be made right with God, simply by calling on the name of the Lord?” “Are you sure that’s all there is to it?”

Yes, that’s it! It’s that simple. The hard part of the Gospel was done on the Cross. Jesus paid it all and all to Him we owe! The work of salvation was completed in Jesus. Our response is simply to believe.

Encourage those who are struggling to believe the simple Gospel to “come and see”. Let them see, as Philip did for Nathanael, what Jesus has done for you! “You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart!”
