I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
Finding People, Part 2
By: Ron Edmondson Tuesday, February 17, 2004
Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida. Philip found Nathanael and told him, "We have found the One Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote-Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." John 1:44-45 NIV

After Jesus found Philip, Philip found Nathanael. That is still God’s plan today. Jesus finds us, and we find others for Jesus. Jesus’ growth plan for the Kingdom is multiplication through the children of God. Jesus told His disciples that they would do even greater things than Him. Why? Because there were more of them.

We are living in a day when people tend to value the right of privacy, but in our desire not to offend anyone, we are keeping some from hearing the Gospel. Who do you know that, as far as you know, is still separated from God; doomed to an eternity apart from Him? Would you be willing to share Christ with them?

Philip found Nathanael and introduced him to Jesus. Who could your introduce to Jesus? Just tell them this: 1. God loves you. 2. You are a sinner, and sin separates you from God. 3. Christ died for your sins. 4. You must receive the gift of Jesus Christ.

To demonstrate their belief, you might have them pray something like this: “Dear God, I know you love me. I know I have sinned. I believe Jesus died for my sins. Forgive me and save me. I want to be a Christian. In Jesus Name, Amen.”
