If you don't have anything to do for the next three minutes......how about dreaming out loud with me for a moment......
Who do you long to see in Heaven? Have you ever thought about that? I have been so blessed with friends on Earth, but I really wish I had more time to just sit around and visit. Do you agree? I'm looking forward to that part of Heaven.
My wife and boys will feel like I really do give them priority time. We'll play the games we never got started, and finish the discussions that got interrupted by a telemarketer.
I will enjoy getting to know my brother again....it seems like so long ago that we shared a room. I'll have longer than a car ride between meetings to talk with my sister. I will sit down with my Grandmothers and Grandfathers, and let them tell me what it was like when they grew up. I will have quantity time for my parents.
Then there's my new friend Ryan, and my old friend Ryan. My friend Steve, Dennis, Keith, and Tommy. I'll enjoy meeting my internet friends.
I want to sit down with great men of the Bible. Paul, Abraham, Moses, David, Elijah, Isaiah and Jeremiah are just a few that come to mind. I will listen to Noah's stories about the worst flood of his life, and how Jonah counted the ribs of a fish....from the inside. I will visit with John as we compare the revelation he saw to actual Heaven.
But, wait a minute! Some people are not going to be there, are they? I was about to continue my list, but it dawned on me. The Bible says that no man comes to the Father (Heaven), except by me (Jesus). That could be (WILL BE) a problem if someone has never accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
Friend, help me out here! I really want to see you face to face someday in Heaven! It will mean a lot to me (not to mention what it will mean to you). If there has never been a time where you, by faith, asked Jesus to save you from your sins, then do so today! DON'T WAIT ANOTHER MINUTE! TODAY IS THE DAY!
I really want to sit down with you in Heaven! You can tell me all about your decision then...........We'll have plenty of time!
