I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
Dependent on God
By: Ron Edmondson Thursday, April 22, 1999
It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy. Romans 9:16 NIV

It: Salvation

You are not saved because you tried harder than the rest; wanted it more than others; or was just as good as the next guy. You are saved, if you are, only by God's mercy; through the blood of Jesus shed for you on the cross!

There are too many people today mixed up about salvation. It really is pretty simple. God saves....you accept! Period! End of story.

You aren't good enough to be saved. You don't have enough money to buy salvation. (Not even Bill Gates does!) You don't know enough people to get you into Heaven. There are no social club's whose membership will make you qualified; not even any churches by which your name on the role will get you saved! Any questions?

You might as well face it: YOU CAN'T BE SAVED...Except by God's mercy.

Thankfully, you can be saved, because God's mercy is available to all who will call upon His Holy name. We are currently living in the days of Grace! Today, right now, you can be a child of God simply by allowing Jesus to become your Savior; the only way a sinner will ever reach a Holy God!

Call on the Lord today, and thank Him for His Saving Mercy!
