I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.
I Am Found In You

"I tell you," He replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."Luke 19:40NIV
Jesus had entered the city riding a donkey. He was heading for thecross! Tradition told the people that Jesus' entry on a donkeysymbolized His approachability; that He would be a friendly ruler, andwould welcome His people. (We know that one day He will return on awhite horse to rule in power, but for now, He came in grace; available toall.)
The people rejoiced! The chief priests asked Jesus to quiet down Hisfollowers. Jesus said if they didn't express it, the very rocks wouldhave to cry out! In other words, this is too important to miss.....someone's going to get excited today!
Can you imagine the excitement? The Messiah had been prophesized sincethe Garden of Eden. Throughout every page of Jewish history, it wasknown that a Redeemer would come. Moses led the people out of Israel, but God would eventually send the final Savior to the world! That timehad come!
Now, keep in mind that many in the crowd had no idea what was about totake place. They didn't realize the pain and suffering Jesus wouldencounter. They didn't understand that Christ's final kingdom was stillto come. But they knew something was up! There was something special inthe air! It was a pre-ordained event! The greatest event in the historyof Creation! A Savior had come totown!
When Jesus enters the picture, that is something to shout about! Eventhe rocks know that!
