I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.
I Am Found In You

Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Psalm 37:3
I want you to imagine for a moment that you are a cow or a sheep. You have been on this land all your life, grazing, sleeping, running, drinking. Suddenly, out of no where it seems, a wolf appears one day. The wolf kills off three of your friends (you are still your animal of choice remember). The next day the wolf appears again and gets four more friends. This continues on everyday for a week. You begin to be scared.
At the same time, the grass you have been eating begins to dry up. You have a hard time finding something to eat. Your children (the calves or lambs) are beginning to question you. You are worried about your next meal.
Then a disease hits the flock. Half the animals are wiped out in a single month. Tragedy has hit.
One day, a great day indeed, a wealthy farmer purchases you and your kids! He takes you to a new field. The grass is greener than you ever imagined, and there is plenty of hay in the barns if it ever dries out. There is a master vet right on the property, in case anyone gets sick. The grounds are monitored day and night by ranchers and you are under their constant protection. And each night, before the sun goes down, every animal gets a massage and rub down (is that stretching your imagination too far?).
Now, read that verse again: Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pastures. Does it make more sense to you now?
Apply it to your life today. If you are a child of God, His safety, His care, His love you will find.
And you might want to quit imagining you are an animal now. People are beginning to stare.
