Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God. Job 37:14
"Did you miss it? Did you see that cloud that looked like George Washington?" "Hey, look at the stars tonight!" "Was that thunder?" "What a beautiful rainbow!" "Aren't the leaves colorful this Fall?" "That is the greenest grass." "The sky is so blue." "Have you ever seen a butterfly with those colors."
Isn't God amazing? God's hand can be seen in all creation. From the brilliance of the blue in the sky to the power of the thunder in a storm, the works of God never cease to fascinate me. The fact that God spoke it all into existence and that He is so careful in every detail, further expands His awesomeness. I pray that today you will stand still long enough to consider His works.
And as you do, think of this: In spite of all His creation; the clouds, the lightning, the mountains, the oceans, the birds, the monkeys, the hippos, the whales, the trees, etc., etc., etc., YOU are His most excellent creation. In YOU He has breathed His own breath. YOU are created in His image. For YOU He sent His one and only son to die on a cross as payment for YOUR sins. All for YOU!
Stand still and consider His wonderous works, and then know that in it all, He cares for YOU!
