I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.
I Am Found In You

Christ Advanced through Paul
As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. Philippians 1:13 NIV
Everyone knew why Paul was in prison. No one walked around the prison thinking “I wonder what Paul’s in here for?” Paul lived a life, even while in chains, that left no question about where his priorities were. People knew Paul loved Jesus Christ!
Can the same be said of you and me? We all go through times of struggle in our lives. Each of us have had situations that tend to threaten the hope that we have. Most of the time these struggles come suddenly, with little or no warning, and they begin to dominate our entire life. Paul knew what that felt like, and yet his devotion to the Lord never changed.
Are you allowing the trials in your life to point people to the hope that is found in Jesus Christ? I think we are right to pray for God’s intervention in the situation; for healing, restoration, recovery, etc. But, more important even than those things, shouldn’t we pray for God’s glory to be revealed through us? Shouldn’t we desire for God to use our struggles to point others to Christ?
I’ll never forget a few years ago, as I was going through a very difficult time in my life. I wasn’t necessarily sharing the struggle with others, but people knew it. I remember someone asking the question, “where do you think God is in all this?” God was gracious with His answer through me. I told my friend, “God is right in the middle, working all things to good, so that through His will, His glory might be displayed through me.”
God is in the middle of your trial, too! Won’t you allow Him to display His glory!

Some churches use it as a supplement to their discipleship program. Perhaps your church would be interested in doing this. All I ask is that credit be given to the ministry.
