I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
Ahead of Time
By: Ron Edmondson Tuesday, January 01, 2002
So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time. Mark 13:23

Another year has come and gone, never to be seen again. Time keeps passing by, and as the saying goes, “the older I get the quicker it passes”.

Jesus said to be on our guard, because He has warned us of our future! He has told us “ahead of time” what will take place. Are you prepared for what’s ahead?

Several years ago I remember someone telling me I should invest in a certain stock. They didn’t have inside information, but they were keen enough to know it was a good deal. I didn’t take advantage of the offer and recently the stock sold for nearly 10 times its value. It is always good to be prepared “ahead of time”.

One day, maybe in 2002, the Heavens will open, the trumpet will sound, the dead and Christ will rise first, and we who remain will be “caught up” to meet the Lord in the air. The Rapture will come, just as God has promised. We have been told “ahead of time”. Will all be saved? Absolutely not! Will all spend eternity in Heaven? Absolutely not! If that were true, God would be a liar, because Jesus said, “no one comes to the Father except through me”.

No, only those who have “believed in me”, in Jesus, the Son of God, who came, lived a perfect life, hung and died on an old rugged cross, and rose again to sit at the right hand of the Father, shall enter into the Promise Land. Only the born again shall get to Gloryland. Oh, but if you are reading this, there must still be time! Come quickly to the Lord, before it is too late! Fall on your knees (if you can) and cry out “Lord, save me a sinner”. Believe in Jesus and you shall be saved!

You have been warned “ahead of time”! What are you going to do about it?

Happy New Year and thank you for reading Mustard Seeds as we will begin our 6th year in 2002!
